Our client is one of the most successful consulting businesses in the UK today. Their services extend across many disciplines and include providing support to their clients in the public sector and regulated industry to provide better everyday services to customers and communities. Their combination of professional, commercial and technical expertise enables clients to improve their strategy, services, people and asset management. Within their operations they cover, highways, rail, property, housing, gas, water, and management consultancy in a wide range of disciplines.
They are respected both nationally and internationally and with over 120 offices across the UK and a turnover in excess of £350m they are well positioned and offer enormous diversity.
In more detail the company operate a number of long term contracts that provide outsourced property services as well as specific projects within their property division. This division provides a number of estate management, asset managagement and valuation services which are currently provided from ten of their offices, in turn these offices employ over 1400 staff.
The role they seek to fill offers an excellent opportunity for a subject-matter expert to play a leading role in their asset management activities. As well as acting as project manager and key advisor on client engagements, you will also have the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of the company's proposition within the property asset management sector.
This role involved working closely with offices across the UK - identifying new opportunities as well as giving expert technical guidance on issues like asset management methodology and government policy.
It is expected that you will be RICS qualified, you will bring experience of providing a broad range of advice on asset management matters. You will have an indepth knowledge of the public sector and any experience of working within the private sector would be of most interest. The company require highly developed client-facing skills and the ability to think laterally as well as strong influencing skills.
