Title: Divisional Director - Asset Management
Description: DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR - ASSET MANAGEMENT - HIGHWAYS (Roads & Major Projects) Midlands based £50 - 60k This exciting role has been created by our client, a leading consultancy with a strong highways offering across the Midlands and Ireland. The role will effectively be to lead and manage the business development and delivery of highways asset management commissions. In more detail this will involve:- The review and implementation of business development strategy for Highways, including updating of Marketing Plan. Identification of business opportunities, particularly in UK and Ireland but also internationally where such opportunities are in line with the Highways Sector Plan. Raising the company's profile in the Highways Asset Management sector. Leading pre-qualification and tender submissions. Responsible for updating progress reports (weekly & monthly). Developing a highly motivated team that is committed to delivering the objectives of the business and drive improved performance. Ensuring excellent performance in accordance with company values and procedures. Ensuring risk and business trade-offs are evaluated to achieve optimal business solutions and results. Negotiating at a senior level with internal, external business partners, suppliers', clients' and customers'. Developing the company's skills, capabilities and resources in the short and medium term to take advantage of opportunities that will occur. Supporting the continuous improvement culture within the division. Ensuring a rigorous and professional approach to deliver on their commitments to clients. Ensuring a process is in place which formally reviews all projects to ensure delivery within the clients expected time/cost/quality. Establishing KPIs to demonstrate to the client that they are measuring and improving the level of client feedback in accordance with their needs. Undertaking own continuing professional development. Operating in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environment and quality standards. It is hoped that you will have some academic knowledge of Asset Management, as well as experience of working in Highways Asset Management at a senior level and experience of team leadership. In addition to this you will possess good communication skills and the ability to act as a mentor.
