Our client, a world leader in civil engineering design, specialises in the provision of consultancy advice for highway management, maintenance and improvement. As they continue to develop this part of their business the highway strategy and procurement skill group is looking for a talented Principal Engineer to join their expanding team in York or Leeds.
What will be key to this role will be the ability to manage and provide consultancy advice on individual tasks under Highways Agency frameworks.
In the main the role will involve taking direct responsibility for the delivery of tasks and representing the company at a senior level. In addition to this the provision of consultancy advice and preparation of technical reports, as well as assisting in
developing the business.
The company are looking to attract an individual who possesses excellent management skills, has a broad knowledge and understanding of highway management and maintenance, as well as an understanding of winter service. Alongside a degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent subject.
