Our client has a strong presence within traffic operations and technology and provides specialist highways technology expertise to a wide and varied client base. Projects range from small improvement tasks to medium-sized technology projects as well as strategic and urban work.
Currently their need is for a highly respected Transport Technology Specialist who is familar with the demands of road and traffic technology in the UK. Key to this role will be your ability to develop strategies and drive the business forward, with the potential to double the company's offering in the next three to five years.
Our client has an enviable track record and has become one of the main players in the transport technology field. They are able to attract a number of highly successful individuals and with their plans to double in size, an ambitious plan, but one based on their successes and vision they are able to offer tremendous scope.
The role will be to lead a technology group of between 300-350 staff who are involved in everything from transport technology to operations and ITS.
You will be a big hitter with vision and the ability to command respect .
The role could be based anywhere in the UK and calls for an excellent track record and the ability to really drive the business forward.
